Wicked all night live line up, with Soweto accompanied by tenor saxophonist Steve Williamson (previous collaborations with Steve Coleman, Abbey Lincoln); Hip Hop slot featuring TY (Best UK Hip Hop Act 2001) plus polished performance of "The Cultural Tourists Guide 2 Handsworth" - a lyrical and musical journey, fusing young and old, jazz and reggae with Hip Hop and garage.

Soweto also collaborates with a selection of UK's leading Jazz and Hip Hop artists - all at venues in the heart of the community!

After leaving behind formal education at Oxford, Soweto Kinch chose to head for the wisdom of the jazz world. He has worked with greats such as Courtney Pine, Gary Crosby, Denys Baptiste and guitar guru Ernest Ranglin at the 2003 WOMAD Festival. Kinch has won a number of awards including the 2002 BBC Jazz Awards, the White Saxophone prize at the Montreux Jazz Festival, and a MOBO Award for Best Jazz Act 2003. The MOBO (Music Of Black Origins) Award is one of the most prestigious prizes of its kind and is decided by public vote. The self-taught alto saxophonist's debut album Conversations With the Unseen uniquely mixes post bop jazz and rap with ease.
