Lahore Drifting Vistas The drum, 144 Potters Lane, Aston A sublime audio-visual urban travelogue into the city of Lahore, Pakistan from Birmingham born artist/filmmaker Joseph Potts. Set to a backdrop of his mixed race ethnic heritage, the installation explores cultural and personal themes of identity and the unknown self. Lahore Drifting Vistas is a dual screen projection. It digitally integrates video shot in both structured situations and random encounters in the spring heat of Lahore and Birmingham into a collage reflecting the transient nature of emotions, people and places. |
