What is being proud of what you do? We are the makers and breakers of our own destiny. Sometimes in the music business artists are attracted to corners under the impression that things that make them feel good might not get sales going. So they're pressured into changing their values to accommodate the needs and the greeds and the fears of the ones that are responsible for getting the material out to the public. The problem is financial gain is only an achievement for survival in a materialistic world good or bad, but art is food for the soul and one cannot survive without soul. So all those who put an artistic career in front or above artistic love is always at risk of feeling great shame and where there is shame there is pain, creating a dying soul.

Punch Records with 'Mad Flow'MadFlow is a Human Beat boxer and lyrical freestyle poet who has worked on national and international projects promoting the movement of hip hop culture. Recording collaborations include Roots Manuva, Juice Aleem, Part 2, and the Substance Crew. He has also toured extensively with Jazz Fudge European tour (Millennium Metaphor) taking UK's leading MCs into the Czech Republic, Holland, Germany, France and many more. Flow is also a mainline artist for Punch delivering music-based workshops in schools, prisons, youth centres and exclusion units. PreSkool is a documentary exploring the roots of hip hop culture in the Midlands, inspired by Flow and directed by Faisal Hussain. Preskool The drum, 144 Potters Lane, Aston A short documentary film looking at the music scene of Birmingham from 1980 to the present day. Instigated by Punch Records and inspired by 'Mad Flow', a beat boxer, rapper, and emcee from Birmingham, the film seeks the truth and shares stories about the impact of jazz dance, soul, funk, hip hop and reggae. Mad Flow wanted to raise the profile of rappers, DJs, break dancers, the club scene and the musical history of Birmingham that inspired him as a youngster. Preskool is a voice for the unsung heroes of Birmingham, who not only played an integral part of the city's music scene, but who also contributed immensely to the culture of Hip Hop in the midlands.
