Yvonne Brissett

The Darkest Hour

Broadcast journalist, author, editor, film maker.

Yvonne Brissett is a Broadcast Journalist at BBC Birmingham. A graduate of Birmingham University, she is the co-editor of the award-winning anthology, 'Whispers in the Walls', published by Tindal Street Press in 2001. Her short story, 'The Darkest Hour', featured in the collection, has been adapted and broadcast on BBC Radio 4. Yvonne then adapted 'The Darkest Hour' into a screenplay, which was short-listed for the Channel 4 ideas-factory film competition.

Yvonne has just finished independently producing and directing her short film, The Darkest Hour. She is also writing her first novel.
